| 7th-8th June | Horse Weekend | ? | Gatton Showgrounds | ? | 5th-6th July | Day after Independence Day Run | MJCQ | Departing Jubilee Park in Telemon street, Beaudesert at 9am. After a scenic drive along the Lions Road and through the Border Ranges National Park we will be camping overnight at Misty Mountain. There are toilets and showers on site. We will then make our way back up the coast to Brisbane. This will be a relaxing weekend to enjoy the local scenery and the company of your fellow WWII vehicle enthusiasts. No hard 4wding involved. | 8th-22nd March | Corowa Run | MJCQ | I am proposing to leave from Warwick on Sunday the 8th March 2009. We will be travelling mostly on minor roads at lower than highway speed. We will probably cover around 350 to 400km each day. We should arrive into Corowa on Wed 11th and remain there until Sunday 15th. I hope to visit the War Memorial in Canberra on our way back and we should arrive back in Brisbane on Sunday 22nd. Planning is in the early stages and I am open to suggestions on Places to Visit during this trip. We would be camping in Caravan Parks but if you would like to go more upmarket you would be welcome to book your own B&B or Motel in the towns we stop at.
